He was referring to Joao \u201cfelps\u201d Vasconcellos, a SK Gaming player from <a href=\"\/brazil\/\" title=\"Brazil esports betting sites\">Brazil<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The incident was caught on a clip that was sent to felps, who immediately took to Twitter to confront k1to about his comment. Both players handled the situation with maturity, k1to apologized publicly and clarified that it wasn\u2019t his intention to make a racist comment.<\/p>\n<p>Although the issue didn\u2019t escalate between the players, Faceit labeled it \u201cinexcusable\u201d and decided to ban k1to for one month. <\/p>\n<p>ALTERNATE aTTax apologized in an official statement, explaining that in <a href=\"\/germany\/\" title=\"German esports betting sites\">Germany<\/a>, k1to\u2019s home country, the word &#8220;monkey&#8221; does not have the racial connotations that it does in South America.
