ODDIK showed some signs of life in August, but their results over the last month leave much to be desired. They have managed just four wins over a 10-game stretch against regional opponents, which makes it difficult to believe ODDIK have what it takes to deliver in an international event.
BIG have been very up-and-down, with a few solid games at ESL Pro League Season 20 but just as many crushing losses against weaker opponents. That includes three defeats from their last four, losing to MongolZ, Monte, and ECSTATIC.
BIG look like the better team on paper, but they are inconsistent and have a win rate of better than 50% on just two maps: Nuke and Ancient. At $3.49, ODDIK are a solid pick for this best-of-one game.

Wildcard and M80 last met during CCT Season 2 North American Series #2 in August, when Wildcard won 2-1. They have since played reasonably well and even showed some pulse in their short ESL Pro League Season 20 campaign.
M80 did exceptionally well in the same tournament, where they reached the quarterfinals. Since then, M80 have been cruising through ESL Challenger League Season 48 North America regular season.
M80 placed much better in Malta, but they only had to defeat Complexity, Fnatic, and Imperial. Since this is a clash between regional rivals, it is difficult to pass on the outsiders at this price.

This nail-biting encounter not only marked Complexity’s entry into the Major but also served as a poignant narrative for Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski, who delivered a stellar performance against his former team, Liquid.
EliGE’s exceptional display underscored his continual improvement in Counter-Strike 2, as he propelled Complexity past Liquid, a team boasting significant offseason acquisitions in Casper “cadiaN” M?ller and Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken.
Despite Liquid’s aspirations and roster enhancements, Complexity’s strategic prowess and map dominance, particularly on Anubis and Overpass, proved decisive.
Liquid’s defeat, while disappointing, can partly be attributed to their faltering performance and shallow map pool, which allowed Complexity to capitalize on their strengths.
Despite a valiant effort from Liquid, including cadiaN’s remarkable AWP ace on Inferno, Complexity’s cohesion and resilience secured them the coveted Major berth.

Their journey to the Major marked a significant comeback for seasoned star AWPer Henrique “HEN1” Teles, who had not participated in a Valve-sponsored event since Krakow 2017 with Immortals, where they secured a second-place finish.
HEN1’s career has seen ups and downs, including a peak in 2020 with FURIA and subsequent challenges in maintaining tier-one status, but he returned with an impressive 1.62 rating to lead Imperial’s charge into the PGL Major Copenhagen.
Imperial showcased their dominance right from the start, swiftly punishing paiN’s decision to allow them to choose Mirage as the opening map.
Led by HEN1 and supported by standout performances from Jo?o “felps” Vasconcellos and emerging talents like Kaiky “noway” Santos and Lucas “decenty” Bacelar, Imperial secured an 8-1 lead and eventually closed out Mirage convincingly.
Nuke, paiN’s pick, also proved to be a stronghold for Imperial, as they surged to a commanding 9-1 lead with HEN1 delivering standout performances once again.
Elsewhere, FURIA secured their seventh consecutive Major appearance by defeating Complexity 2-1 (13-10, 13-16, 13-7).
Led by Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato’s stellar performance, FURIA demonstrated resilience and stability throughout their matches.

MIBR faced off against NRG in a showdown that saw MIBR asserting dominance from the get-go.
NRG’s choice of Inferno backfired as MIBR swept through them with ease, securing a convincing 13-2 victory.
Despite NRG’s efforts to rally on Anubis, MIBR ultimately triumphed 16-13, securing their spot in the next stage of the tournament.

Legacy and ODDIK also had their moments of glory, with Legacy defeating Nouns 2-1 (9-13, 13-4, 13-7) and ODDIK surpassing Elevate 2-1 (13-11, 10-13, 13-10).
