Cloud9 have done well in the group stage, winning five out of six games. However, they have managed just one clean sweep — against MiBR — and haven’t looked amazing in any of their wins.
G2 Esports managed just three wins in the group stage, beating Evil Geniuses in the first week, FURIA in the third, and MiBR in the fourth. But even though they won all three games without dropping a map, those victories don’t count for much.
None of those three teams made it to the playoffs, suggesting that G2 Esports are hardly more than gatekeepers. However, Cloud9 haven’t looked amazing in their victories either and have hardly shown more over the last two weeks than G2.
This match looks much closer to 50-50 than what the esports betting odds suggest, making G2 Esports a solid bet at outsider odds.
100 THIEVES vs LOUD VCT BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|

Best Odds: | 100T $2.01 at GG Bet | LOUD $1.74 at GG Bet |

LOUD made a miraculous comeback in the final two weeks of VCT 2024 Americas Stage 1 to secure the spot in the playoffs. After going 0-3 with defeats against NRG, Cloud9 and KRU Esports, LOUD took down Sentinels and G2 Esports with two dominant performances.
Much of LOUD’s late resurgence can be attributed to Felipe “Less” Basso, who posted 1.20 and 1.67 performance ratings across the last two series. But he isn’t the only LOUD player who has started playing better recently.
100 Thieves looked very competitive throughout the group stage with wins against G2 Esports, Cloud9, and NRG. While they have been more consistent than LOUD, they’ve not shown the same heights.
100 Thieves can be considered the safer pick, but LOUD’s recent resurgence makes them a scary team to bet against. With their high ceiling and improved form, $1.74 is more than a fair offer.

]]>Among the matchups, the defending LoL World Champions, T1, will take on Estral Esports, marking the start of what promises to be an exhilarating tournament at the Chengdu Financial City Performing Arts Center in China.
Estral Esports faces an uphill battle, with most of their lineup having limited international experience.
For instance, former FlyQuest jungler Brandon “Josedeodo” Joel Villegas has only attended Worlds 2020 with Rainbow7, while Cristian “Cody” Sebastin Quispe Yampara and Gabriel “Ackerman” Aparicio have seen action in MSI and Worlds in 2021.
On the other hand, T1 arrives with the weight of their recent World Championship win and a determination to redeem their loss to Gen.G in the LCK grand final.
In another matchup, FlyQuest will clash with PSG Talon, while Top Esports and LOUD will go head-to-head.
Fnatic, meanwhile, will face off against GAM Esports, setting the stage for an electrifying start to the tournament.
Expectations are high for the major region representatives to advance to the second round of the upper bracket.
If predictions hold, FlyQuest could potentially meet T1, while Fnatic may challenge one of China’s top teams, Top Esports.
However, the inclusion of a lower bracket offers a second chance for teams that stumble in the initial rounds, adding an extra layer of excitement and narrative to the event.
MSI 2024 introduces significant format changes, requiring second-seeded teams from major regions to navigate the play-in stage.
With powerhouses like Top Esports and T1 in the mix, the play-in bracket promises to be one of the most action-packed in LoL history.
As MSI approaches on May 1 in Chengdu, China, fans eagerly await the unfolding drama and excitement as teams vie for glory on the international stage.

SETINELS vs MIBR VCT BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

---|---|
Best Odds: | Sentinels $1.04 at GG Bet | MIBR $8.93 at GG Bet |
When: | April 20, 2024 | 14:00 PDT |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/valorant_americas) |
MiBR have played just one game in VCT 2024 Americas Stage 1 and lost against KRU Esports, winning just 14 rounds. But despite MiBRs unconvincing display in the previous round, the Brazilian side had a good showing in the VCT 2024 Americas Kickoff with wins against FURIA, Cloud9, and G2 Esports.
Sentinels looked poised to dominate Stage 1 after winning the VCT 2024 Americas Kickoff and Madrid Masters, but their golden run came to an end last Saturday when they were swept by Leviatan. While losing to a stacked roster is nothing much to worry about, Leviatan proved that Sentinels could bleed.
Sentinels are the better of the two teams in this contest, but MiBR are much more potent than what they have shown of late. At $3.00 with VALORANT betting sites, its tough to pass on MiBR to win at least one map.
CLOUD9 vs LOUD VCT BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | Cloud9 $2.78 at GG Bet | LOUD $1.41 at GG Bet |
When: | April 20, 2024 | 17:00 PDT |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/valorant_americas) |
Cloud9 have won both of their VCT 2024 Americas Stage 1 fixtures so far, beating Leviatan and Evil Geniuses. However, they dropped a map in both and didnt look very convincing against Evil Geniuses on Monday.
LOUD have played just one game so far, losing 0-2 against NRG with a combined 12-26 round record. While one off day isnt a reason for concern, especially after making some noise in both the Americas Kickoff and Masters Madrid, we have already seen that lead-up form doesn’t necessarily translate to Stage 1 success.
LOUD should win, but Cloud9 have proved to be a resilient team. Considering they made roster changes in March, C9 should only get better with time.

The match showcased remarkable performances, with Sentinels’ Mohamed “johnqt” Amine Ouarid leading the charge with 57 kills and serving as the in-game leader (IGL), while LOUD’s Arthur “tuyz” Vieira and Cauan “cauanzin” Pereira put up a strong fight with 51 kills each.
Sentinels displayed dominance on the map Split, a surprise to spectators as LOUD allowed it to be played despite Sentinels’ proficiency on the map.
Tyson “TenZ” Van Ngo and Zachary “zekken” Jude Patrone’s exceptional gameplay drew comparisons to legendary sports duo Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant.
The momentum swung in Sentinels’ favor as they secured a convincing 13-4 victory on Split, with a standout performance from Jordan “Zellsis” Montemurro who achieved a remarkable 1.60 rating.
However, LOUD showcased resilience on their pick of Icebox, leading to a tense back-and-forth battle that ultimately ended in overtime, where LOUD managed to tie the match 1-1.
In a thrilling deciding map on Sunset, Sentinels faced initial setbacks but staged an impressive comeback, clinching a 14-12 victory in overtime with clutch plays from Tenz and johnqt.
With this win, Sentinels advances to the upper-bracket final to face Gen.G, setting the stage for an anticipated showdown between the tournament’s top controllers, Tenz and Kim “Karon” Won-tae.
Meanwhile, LOUD faces Paper Rex in an elimination match, where the stakes are high for both teams.
In another matchup, Gen.G secured a decisive 2-0 (13-8, 13-9) victory against Paper Rex, securing a top-three placement at VCT Masters Madrid.

Gen.G’s impressive eight-game win streak continues, positioning them as strong contenders for the tournament title.
Gen.G showcased dominance on Split, maintaining their winning strategy with a double-duellist, double-controller composition.
Kim “Lakia” Jong-min’s standout performance with Skye played a pivotal role in Gen.G’s success.
Moving on to the map Lotus, Gen.G maintained their momentum with a strong start, eventually closing out the map with a 13-9 victory.
Byeon “Munchkin” Sang-beom attributed their success to meticulous pre-game preparation and a resilient team attitude in the face of pressure.
As the tournament progresses, all eyes are on Sentinels and Gen.G as they continue their quest for the championship title, while other teams like LOUD and Paper Rex fight to stay in the competition.

]]>LOUD, coming off a disappointing loss to Gen.G, faced off against China’s FunPlus Phoenix.
Despite a shaky start, LOUD managed to secure a convincing 2-0 victory, dominating their map pick of Sunset with a 13-5 score line.
Despite FPX’s unconventional compositions, LOUD’s aggressive defensive pressure and superior utility usage proved too much for their opponents.
Matias “Saadhak” Delipetro’s exceptional performance stood out, leading LOUD to victory with impeccable gameplay.

The second map, Breeze, presented a tougher challenge for LOUD as FPX fought back fiercely, led by Kale “autumn” Dunne’s standout performance on Yoru.
However, LOUD’s depth and adaptability ultimately secured them a hard-fought 13-11 victory, with saadhak once again shining as a key player.
In the second match of the VCT Masters Madrid, Paper Rex clashed with Team Heretics in a tense battle that went down to the wire.
Despite initial struggles, Paper Rex managed to clinch a 2-1 victory, displaying their trademark scrappiness and individual playmaking.
On their map pick of Sunset, Paper Rex showcased resilience and key individual plays, particularly from Cahya “Monyet” Nugraha, whose clutch plays turned the tide in their favour.
Despite a valiant effort from Heretics, Paper Rex’s strong defensive performance secured them a 13-10 win.

However, Heretics fought back strongly on Lotus, led by Dominykas “MiniBoo” Luka?evi?ius’ impressive performance with Neon.
Despite Paper Rex’s relentless aggression, Heretics maintained composure and teamwork to secure a 13-10 victory.
The decider map, Split, witnessed a dominant performance from Paper Rex, as they overcame an early setback to secure a convincing 13-7 victory.
Jason “f0rsakeN” Susanto’s adaptability and leadership shone through, leading Paper Rex to victory with a remarkable +10 differential on Raze.
In post-match interviews, both teams expressed confidence and determination moving forward.
Paper Rex’s coach, Alexandre “alecks” Sall, highlighted their strategic adjustments and agent flexibility, while f0rsaken joked about his willingness to play unconventional agents in future matches.
Looking ahead, Paper Rex faces off against Karmine Corp in the next round of the Swiss format, aiming to secure a spot in the playoffs.
LOUD will face EDward Gaming, with both teams attempting to stave off elimination and progress to the playoffs.

The showdown commenced with a convincing display from Karmine Corp on Icebox, where they exhibited dominance, only briefly slowed down by FunPlus Phoenix, ultimately securing a 13-8 victory.
Despite FPX putting up a fight on Lotus and establishing a commanding lead, Karmine Corp rallied back in the second half to clinch the map 13-10.
Following their triumph, Karmine Corp advanced to face one of the three other victorious teams, positioning themselves for a favourable playoff seed.
Meanwhile, FunPlus Phoenix will aim to stave off elimination against one of the other defeated teams.
The second match of the day at VCT Masters Madrid saw Gen.G display their dominance in a thrilling 2-1 (13-11, 8-13, 13-5) victory over former champions LOUD, positioning themselves just one win away from securing a top-four finish in their debut Masters event.

LOUD, on the other hand, now face the challenge of avoiding elimination to stay in the tournament.
The series commenced with LOUD’s pick of Icebox, where they initially gained the upper hand with a 4-0 lead.
However, Gen.G fought back, ultimately securing a hard-fought 13-11 win, with standout performances from Kim “t3xture” Na-ra and Kim “Karon” Won-tae pivotal to their success.
Moving on to Breeze, Gen.G faced initial resistance from LOUD but managed to rally, led by Karon’s crucial contributions and a standout performance from Gabriel “Quick” Lima.
Despite Gen.G’s efforts, LOUD clinched a 13-8 victory to tie the series.
The decider map, Ascent, witnessed Gen.G’s dominance as they overwhelmed LOUD, particularly with a standout performance from rookie Karon, who exhibited remarkable prowess with a 20-5 Kill/Death difference (KD), a 2.01 rating, and 413 Average Combat Score (ACS).
Gen.G sealed the victory with a convincing 13-5 win, showcasing their confidence and skill.

FunPlus Phoenix qualified for Madrid by placing second in the VCT 2024 China Kickoff tournament, where they only looked good against some of the regions weakest teams. That automatically makes them the lowest-rated squad travelling to Spain.
Karmine Corp were billed as one of the weakest EMEA teams entering the 2024 season but ended up winning the regional tournament with convincing victories against Team Heretics and Fnatic. They have played only four games so far, so its not fair to make any conclusions yet; however, based on what the new-look Karmine Corp have shown, they look poised to make some noise in Madrid.
VALORANT betting sites are offering $1.77 on Karmine Corp to sweep FunPlus Phoenix, which typically isnt a bet we would take for the opening series of an international tournament. But the quality gap is big enough to justify a wager on KC at the offered price.
GEN.G vs LOUD VCT BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

LOUD are priced as $3.50 favourites in the VCT Masters Madrid 2024 outright markets, which is a bit of an exaggeration. Even though the Brazilian side performed well at VCT 2024 Americas Kickoff, they also played a couple of close series against weaker sides.
Gen.G won the VCT 2024 Pacific Kickoff, but that doesnt mean theyre ready to face LOUD, mainly because Gen.G hail from a weaker region. But Paper Rex did some serious damage last season in international events, so the regions strength argument doesnt apply everywhere.
LOUD should win, but they looked inconsistent during VCT 2024 Americas, so we prefer to side with Gen.G with a map advantage.

]]>This departure marks the end of Japan and LATAM’s presence in the prestigious League of Legends event, and it’s worth noting that both these teams were the sole representatives for their respective regions.
Movistar R7’s elimination came at the hands of the Vietnamese team GAM Esports.
While they displayed some initial promise in their opening series against PSG Talon, Movistar was defeated in 0-2 fashion.
This unfortunate trend continued as they fell 0-2 again, this time to GAM.
The series wasn’t even close, with GAM dominating Movistar R7 in two relatively quick games lasting 26 and 31 minutes.
In the first game, GAM surged ahead with 19 kills to Movistar’s 6, and they held a substantial 13.1k gold lead by the end.
GAM’s ADC, Nguy?n Slayder Linh V??ng, showcased an impressive 8/0/5 performance on Xayah, and Duy “Levi” Duy Khnh on Wukong contributed with a 6/2/11 game.
On Movistar’s side, Jeong “Mireu” Jo-bin’s Sylas with a 4/4/1 scoreline was the only silver lining in the game.
The second game was even more challenging for Movistar R7, as Nguy?n “Slayder” Linh V??ng continued to shine on Xayah with a 9/2/5 performance.
Additionally, ?? “Levi” Duy Khnh on Vi seemed unstoppable, posting a 4/1/13 performance.
GAM ultimately closed out the game with a commanding 13.5k gold lead and 24 kills, while Movistar managed to secure only 7 kills.

DFM’s journey in the tournament also came to an abrupt end after they faced the European representative, Team BDS.
Team BDS had previously been pushed to the lower bracket following an unexpected reverse sweep by Vietnam’s Team Whales in the upper bracket.
Unfortunately, DFM’s fate mirrored their LATAM counterparts, as they were eliminated with a 0-2 series loss.
The first game of their series against Team BDS was incredibly tight, with BDS securing a narrow victory in 26 minutes and an 11.1k gold lead.
BDS’s midlaner, Ilias nuc Bizriken, emerged as the standout performer with a dominant 6/0/3 game on Jayce.
In the second game, BDS demonstrated a cleaner performance, claiming a victory with a 16.6k gold lead in 28 minutes.
BDS’s ADC, Ju? Crownie Maru?i?, redeemed himself with a remarkable 10/1/5 performance on Xayah.

LOUD and PSG Talon took care of business in the first round of Group A and are now just two series away from securing a ticket for the main event. Both teams looked good in their openers, and from afar, there doesn’t seem to be much separating them quality-wise.
But there’s a reason why PSG Talon are priced as $1.57 betting site favourites for this match. Even though teams were expected to struggle a bit early into the tournament due to the meta shift, PSG Talon looked very composed and performed well against Movistar R7. Admittedly, it’s easy to look good against a weaker team, but PSG Talon didn’t make many errors.
LOUD had a more explosive win, mainly due to how they and GAM Esports like to play, but this also helped hide LOUD’s numerous mistakes, which a better team would’ve punished. LOUD can sneak in a map if they catch PSG Talon off guard early, but this is PSG Talon’s game to lose.

GAM Esports and Movistar R7 will clash on Thursday, October 12, in Group A Losers’ Bracket after both teams suffered heavy losses in the first round of the League of Legends Worlds 2023 Play-In Stage. GAM Esports got humiliated by LOUD (0-2), while Movistar R7 proved to be no match for the Pacific Championship Series (PCS) champions, Talon Esports.
Due to how badly GAM Esports and Movistar R7 played on Tuesday, it’s difficult to take much from the first two games at least, it’s hard to find many positives. GAM Esports were a bit more competitive on the second map of the series, but they made way too many mistakes to feel overly confident in their chances to deliver even against a weaker opponent.
Movistar R7 got smashed by PSG Talon, but unlike GAM, Movistar R7 didn’t let the game get completely out of hand. That doesn’t make LLA representatives a better team, but the eye test proves that Movistar R7 played better than GAM Esports.
GAM Esports still fields better players, which could give them the edge needed to come out ahead. But based on what they showed on Tuesday, GAM shouldn’t be priced as 1.40 favourites with GG Bet.

The LoL World Championship 2023 kicks off on Tuesday, with the opening Play-In clash between Liga Latinoamrica (LLA) champions Movistar R7 and Pacific Championship Series (PCS) representatives PSG Talon. The two teams have never met before, but they both attended Mid-Season Invitational 2023 in May.
PSG Talon are priced as heavy favourites to defeat Movistar R7, mainly because the PCS is a stronger league than the LLA. Regions’ perceived strength is also the only way to measure the teams’ strength. And yet, neither team accomplished much at MSI 2023.
Movistar R7 looked decent at the MSI 2023, where they beat GAM Esports, while PSG Talon defeated DetonatioN FocusMe and LOUD but lost the LCQ match against Golden Guardians. Movistar R7 have since not made any roster changes, but they were far more dominant domestically, winning the LLA regular season and playoffs without issues.
This doesn’t make Movistar R7 a better team; however, this is still the first match of the tournament on a new patch and between two teams from minor regions. Movistar R7 winning a map isn’t the craziest thing that can happen.
LOUD vs GAM ESPORTS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAIL |

LOUD and GAM Esports return to an international stage after both teams failed to achieve much at the Mid-Season Invitational 2023 in May. GAM Esports ended the tournament in last place, while LOUD placed 10th-11th with one win against DetonatioN FocusMe.
Like the first match of the day, this is a clash between two minor-region teams, but we can say that the Vietnamese and Brazilian leagues are fairly even quality-wise. Another thing worth remembering is that both regions are known for their aggressive playstyle.
This match can go both ways, but we can be sure the series will be bloody. LOUD have averaged 15.6 kills and 12.1 deaths per game, while GAM Esports are at 17.5 kills and 13 deaths per game this season. This, combined with the fact that both teams are bad at closing out games, makes over 29.5 kills an inviting bet, with this option available at many different esports betting sites.
