Although a sudden decision by the North American esports organisation, the future of eUnited and their commitment to CS:GO was in doubt after it became public that they brought Jordan “Zellsis” Montemurro to the team without offering him a contract.

The speculation regarding eUniteds lack of interest in keeping their Counter-Strike esports project alive proved to be true when all five members were shown the door over the weekend, meaning that Austin “Cooper-” Abadir, Edgar “MarKE” Maldonado, Victor “food” Wong, Zellsis and freakazoid are all free agents.

At the time of writing, eUnited have not yet announced anything about their future plans for CS:GO.

eUnited have been involved in the competitive CS:GO esports scene since August 2016, when they signed their inaugural roster of Johnny “Marved” Nguyen, Christopher “cJ-dA-K1nG” Jones, Josh “shinobi” Abastado, Daniel “vice” Kim and Ethan “Ethan” Arnold.

Although the newly formed eUnited squad failed to see much success outside a couple of solid placements in B-Tier tournaments, the North American organisation kept their project alive with numerous roster changes and complete rebuilds. In November 2018, eUnited made their first breakthrough with a ninth-12th place finish at IEM Chicago, which catapulted them into the top 30 in the CS:GO world rankings.

Following their successful run in Chicago, eUnited went through a long period of instability and soon found themselves in a downright spiral. In February 2019, eUnited signed MarKE, food and Anthony “vanity” Malaspina in one final attempt to gain some traction. The trio were previously members of Swole Patrol, who they helped qualify for IEM Sydney, but their time at eUnited was plagued by inconsistency.

This year, eUnited have finished third-fourth at Mythic Cup #5, second at the North American DreamHack Open Leipzig 2020 qualifiers, ninth-16th at the WINNERS League C Season 3: North America Invite Division, third-fourth at the North American DreamHack Open Anaheim 2020 qualifiers and most recently claimed bronze at the FLASHPOINT Season 1: North American Qualifier.

While there is no official word on the future of the ex-eUnited roster, freakazoids Tweet suggests the quintet could team up under the Swole Patrol banner for the time being.

CoD world champion Arcitys announces eUnited exit https://www.seclub.top/cod-world-champion-arcitys-announces-eunited-exit/ https://www.seclub.top/cod-world-champion-arcitys-announces-eunited-exit/#respond Tue, 03 Sep 2019 06:49:34 +0000 https://www.seclub.top/?p=8088 The 2019 Call of Duty world champion Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson stunned the CoD community with a free agency announcement on Sunday, September 1, meaning he will part ways with eUnited after three years.

A lot of changes are on the horizon for the 2020 season of Call of Duty World League, including the exclusion of some popular organisations and brands, due to financial complications.

Most notable of which is the decision made this Thursday, August 29, by Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, who announced his team, 100 Thieves will not participate in 2020 CDL due to high costs of participating in the league.

At the time of writing, there are already nine teams confirmed to participate in the next year’s CDL, yet we are still waiting for the rumours of eUnited making their way into the franchised league with Houston to be confirmed.

As a part of the purchase of Infinite Esports & Entertainment, Immortals Gaming acquired both Houston Outlaws and OpTic gaming, which forced them to sell the latter, to comply with Overwatch League rules.

The buyer as reported by ESPN was Lee Zieben, a Houston real estate investor, who has reportedly made a decision to dive deeper into esports scene with an offer to acquire the 2019 CWL Champions eUnited eSports to represent Houston in the Call of Duty League.

While no official announcements have been made yet on whether eUnited accepted the deal or no, the rumours have it the deal is close to being finalized, which is why the recent Arcitys’ announcement took the CoD community by surprise.

One of the eUnited’s most talented individuals and a key player, who helped them reach the title of 2019 CWL Champions, Arcitys has revealed on his Twitter account, his contract with eUnited has run out and that he is looking for a new team, where he could continue his career.

While greeted with some level of disagreement from the fans, his teammate James “Clayster” Eubanks released a statement he fully supports Arcitys and his decision.

Arcitys’ decision to leave the team and look for another challenge could result in an interesting turn of events, where he and his twin brother Preston “Prestinni” Sanderson face off against each other.

That would also mean the duo would be separated for the first time in their professional CoD career, which started in 2016 when the brothers joined EZG eSports West.

ESL Pro League Americas betting tips – eUnited vs Cloud9 https://www.seclub.top/esl-pro-league-americas-betting-tips-eunited-vs-cloud9/ https://www.seclub.top/esl-pro-league-americas-betting-tips-eunited-vs-cloud9/#respond Tue, 21 May 2019 01:39:41 +0000 https://www.seclub.top/?p=7400 Tuesday, May 21 – 17:25 PDT / 20:25 EDT

ESL Pro League Season 9 Americas continues on Tuesday with a Group B clash between eUnited and Cloud9.

Cloud9 have made a lot of roster changes already in 2019. In March, Robin “flusha” R?nnquist left the team as Maikil “Golden” Kunda Selim returned to the starting lineup. Later in the month, Ronald “Rambo” Kim joined as coach and Soham “valens” Chowdhury became the new Head of Data Science, while Daniel “vice” Kim was signed and Fabien “kioShiMa” Fiey was let go. Ren “cajunb” Borg arrived in April, thus completing the starting roster. At the beginning of May, Rambo left the team and valens once again became the head coach.

Those changes have done nothing to improve Cloud9’s form. Their last LAN tournament was BLAST Pro Series Madrid 2019, where they barely won against Giants and lost all other matches to ENCE, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Natus Vincere and Astralis.

Like C9, eUnited have also shuffled the deck in recent months. They started early in January, letting Brandon “Ace” Winn go after his contract expired. A couple of days later, Skyler “Relyks” Weaver left the team and was replaced by Will “dazzLe” Loafman. Pujan “FNS” Mehta was also gone by the end of the month.

In February, eUnited refused to renew the contracts of Michael “dapr” Gulino and Will “dazzLe” Loafman and they were let go. To complete their roster, they acquired Edgar “MarKE” Maldonado, Anthony “vanity” Malaspina and Victor “food” Wong from Swole Patrol, while Armeen “a2z” Toussi signed on as their new coach.

eUnited have won only three matches out of their last 10, although that run includes clashes with some better teams like Furia, AVANAGR, NRG, MIBR and Renegades. They lost both matches at their last LAN event, IEM Sydney 2019, going down 16-13 against NiP and 2-0 against MVP PK.

eUnited vs Cloud9 betting predictions

Cloud9 are priced around $1.70 to win the match, which is fair. They do have some firepower and an OK in-game leader, but it is difficult to back them with any confidence after so many roster changes.

Both teams are in somewhat shaky form, so there is a good chance we will see all three maps played. Over 2.5 maps is paying around $1.88 at online bookmakers, which is high enough for us to recommend a bet on it.

Prediction: Over 2.5 maps – Best odds at GG Bet
