The group stage of the 2019 CS:GO Asia Championships concludes this Thursday, when we will learn which six teams will advance to the playoffs and which two teams will be sent packing. Here are our best bets and predictions for the final four group games, with odds from ESB’s top-ranked CS:GO betting sites.

TYLOO vs MiBR

Thursday, November 21- 11:00 CST

Home favourites TYLOO ($3.16) will lock horns with MiBR ($1.35) in the Group A winners’ match, which promises to be a thrilling bout with direct promotion to the semi-finals on the line.

TYLOO went above and beyond all expectations when they defeated G2 Esports 2-0 in the opening game of the group stage, which ranks among the biggest upsets in the recent history of CS:GO esports.

Talking about teams producing upsets, we cannot overlook MiBR and their stunning clean sweep of the pre-tournament favourites, Evil Geniuses.

MiBR are the stronger team and should get the win, but we cannot underestimate TYLOO after their display against G2. There is decent money on offer for the underdogs to claim at least one map.

Prediction: TYLOO +1.5 at $1.71 with GG Bet

G2 Esports vs Evil Geniuses

Thursday, November 21- 14:00 CST

After disappointing displays their respective openers, G2 ($2.99) and EG ($1.38) have found themselves in a do-or-die position.

What exactly went wrong in G2’s defeat against TYLOO and EG’s shock loss to MiBR is anyone’s guess, but we will give them the benefit of the doubt and say both teams simply had a bad day.

The odds provided by esports bookmakers make it easy to figure out how the balance of power is distributed in this matchup. Not only are EG sitting 11 spots higher than G2 in the CS:GO global power rankings, they also hold a 2-1 record against G2 in their last three meetings.

There is a level of uncertainty around both sides after their poor starts, but the pressure to perform and justify their favourites tag should bring the best out of EG.

Prediction: EG -1.5 at $2.22 with GG Bet

ENCE vs mousesports

Thursday, November 21 – 17:00 CST

There were no surprises in the opening games of Group B, where we saw ENCE ($2.54) and mousesports ($1.50) produce cleans sweeps against ViCi and AVANGAR respectively.

Despite ENCE’s dominant win over ViCi, the Finnish roster failed to convince us they are as strong as they are portrayed to be. Aleksi “allu” Jalli has not yet proven he is a capable IGL and Miikka “suNny” Kemppi’s 1.01 HLTV rating leaves a lot to be desired.

While we can’t talk about mousesports as one of the best teams in the world, they at least have a solid roster, which works like a well-oiled machine. A lot of credit for that goes to Finn “karrigan” Andersen, who is an exceptional IGL and whose presence alone is enough to make us believe mousesports are the superior team here.

Prediction: mousesports to win – $1.50 at GG Bet

ViCi Gaming vs AVANGAR

Thursday, November 21 – 20:00 CST

With only one place left in the playoffs, this bout will put everything on the line for ViCi Gaming ($3.00) and AVANGAR ($1.36).

Both teams lost their opening fixtures of the tournament against far superior opponents. ViCi are the weakest team in the field and should bow out in straight sets, but the question is whether or not they can snatch a map off AVANGAR.

AVANGAR are without a doubt a stronger team in terms of individual quality, but their inconsistency casts doubt over their ability to deliver a clean sweep. Maybe we are pushing our luck, but the odds on the game to go to three maps are too good to ignore.

Prediction: Over 2.5 maps – $2.20 at GG Bet
